    The Role

    We are seeking Chefs, Apprentices, and an experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning culinary teams.
    You’ll work across restaurant service and large-scale wedding catering, gaining exposure to sustainable, seasonal cooking at the highest level.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and deliver high-quality food for weddings and restaurant service

    • Work with premium seasonal produce from our kitchen garden and local suppliers

    • Maintain high standards of food safety, organisation, and cleanliness

    • For Sous Chef role: support kitchen leadership, service execution, and team mentoring

    What We’re Looking For

    • Qualified chefs, apprentices at any stage, or experienced Sous Chefs

    • Passion for quality food and sustainability

    • Weekend availability essential

    • Reliable and mobile – own transport required

  • Events Traineeship 

    Full-time

    The Hinterland Collection — Summergrove Estate | Elysian Hills | Bellingdale Farm | Cascade Springs | Potager Restaurant | Potager House

    We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an Events Trainee – Tours & Enquiries to join The Hinterland Collection — a leading hospitality, events, accommodation, and wellness group in the Tweed Hinterland. This traineeship is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, eager to learn, and looking to begin a career in the events and hospitality industry. You’ll work closely with our events and management team to support venue tours, assist with guest enquiries, and gain hands-on experience across multiple venues while completing your Certificate III in Events. You’ll learn how enquiries become bookings, help deliver exceptional client interactions, and play a supportive role in the guest journey across our group.

    Your Role

    • Assist with incoming enquiries across weddings, corporate, and private events

    • Provide warm, professional responses to clients seeking venue information

    • Support venue tours by helping prepare spaces and learning to guide walk-throughs

    • Contribute to converting enquiries into bookings by offering timely and helpful communication

    • Help maintain positive relationships with clients, coordinators, and suppliers

    • Work alongside the media and management team to ensure clear communication and smooth enquiry flow

    About You

    • You’re friendly, proactive, and excited to develop your skills in events

    • You have strong communication abilities and enjoy connecting with people

    • You’re comfortable supporting multiple venues and learning in a dynamic environment

    • You bring a positive, professional approach and enjoy being part of a creative team

    • An interest in events, weddings, hospitality, or customer service is highly valued

    • No prior experience is required — this is a learning role with full training provided

  • Front of House Supervisor

    Casual | Supervisor   20-30hrs per week

    As a Front of House Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all service aspects of our wedding events, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Understanding and executing the event schedule

    • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

    • Menu management and handling dietary requirements

    • Offering confident and friendly service to all guests

    • Effectively communicating across multiple departments

    • Leading the front-of-house team with strong leadership

    • Task delegation and time management

    • Ensuring smooth event completion and venue closure

    • Handling money and event finalisation

    We are looking for someone who is:

    • Experienced in hospitality with Supervisor experience

    • Confident and friendly in their communication style

    • Committed to providing unforgettable service

    • Detail-oriented and highly organised

    • Collaborative with all departments at our venue

    • Capable of providing service in licensed NSW venues

    • Available on weekends and nights

  • Position: Front of House Bar/Wait Staff

    Casual | 15-20hrs per week

    Summergrove Estate, located in the picturesque Carool NSW, is seeking enthusiastic Front of House Bar/Wait Staff to become part of our award-winning team. Help us craft unforgettable moments for couples on their special day!

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Front of House Bar/Wait Staff member, your role will be pivotal in creating a seamless experience for our guests. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Setting up and breaking down all service areas with attention to detail

    • Ensuring compliance with NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations

    • Delivering exceptional roaming canape service to guests

    • Providing attentive table service throughout the seated reception

    • Executing formal and cocktail dining food service with finesse

    • Offering confident, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all guests

    We are looking for someone who is:

    • Outgoing and friendly in their communication style

    • Dedicated to delivering exceptional and memorable service

    • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to multitask effectively

    • Experience in the hospitality and events industry, with a strong understanding of guest needs

    • Available to work flexible hours, primarily on weekends and evenings

    • Providing attentive table service throughout the seated reception

    • Executing formal and cocktail dining food service

    • Offering confident, and friendly service to all guests
